Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Wall Note (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) handles information when you use the app. We designed Wall Note so that we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data on our servers. If you choose to connect Google Drive, your notes are synced under your control to your own Google account, as explained below.
1. Data we do not collect
Wall Note does not require an account with us. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers in the app to profile you, and we do not maintain a database of your notes, name, email address, or device identifiers on our systems for marketing or analytics purposes.
Your notes and content you create in the app stay on your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync, as described in the next section.
2. Google Drive (optional)
You may choose to connect your Google account and use Google Drive to back up or sync your data. This is entirely optional. If you connect Google Drive:
- Authentication uses Google’s sign-in and OAuth flows; we only request access needed to perform sync you initiate.
- Synced data is stored in your Google Drive (under your Google account), not on servers operated by us for that purpose.
- Google’s handling of your account and Drive data is governed by Google’s policies. You can review Google’s privacy information at Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
- You can disconnect Google Drive from within the app or revoke the app’s access in your Google account settings at any time.
3. How we use information
We do not use your note content for advertising or to build user profiles. If you use Google Drive sync, the app uses the connection only to carry out sync and storage actions you request in your own Drive.
4. Security
We recommend keeping your device secure and using a strong Google account password and two-factor authentication where available. Data in transit between the app and Google services uses encryption as provided by those platforms.
5. Children’s privacy
Wall Note is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently processed such information, please contact us so we can help you remove it where applicable.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
